Farewell Maryland

Dear Families,

I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to take a moment to reach out and inform you about an upcoming change for my family and the tutoring business. We will be relocating to Valdosta, Georgia, in October. I am writing to express my deepest gratitude for entrusting me to work with your children and to update you on the future of our academic support services.

During my time as a classroom teacher and as a tutor, I have had the privilege of witnessing the growth of your children academically, socially, and emotionally through our homeschool pod, tutoring sessions, and summer camps. Your children continue to inspire me, and I am grateful to have played a part in their educational journey.

In light of our upcoming move, I'd like to inform you that limited spaces for virtual tutoring will be available starting mid-October. Additionally, I am excited to announce that I will be accepting new students as I enter the second year of my dyslexia therapist program. This program is designed for students who are 8 years or older and are significantly behind in reading, or have recently received a dyslexia diagnosis. Families participating in this program will need to commit to four 50-minute sessions per week. I will provide you with the actual dates and further details as they become available, so please stay tuned.

Starting over in a new state is indeed a daunting task, and I would greatly appreciate your support during this transition. If you could spare a few moments, I kindly request that you visit the "contact" page on my website and leave a brief review of your experience with my tutoring services. Your words of recommendation will help other families in making an informed decision when seeking academic support for their children.

Thank you sincerely for your trust, support, and partnership over the years. It has been an absolute pleasure working with your children, and I am excited to continue offering my services to both existing and new students in our new location. If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out.

Warm regards,

Chavonne Johnson
